INITIAL EVALUATION
We will be happy to schedule an appointment for you and your child. The evaluation takes approximately one hour and includes a formal and informal assessment of your child’s skills. Following the evaluation, initial impressions will be shared during a family interview.
THERAPY
Although your child is working, they are having a lot of fun! Stacy's sessions are customized to motivate your child and meet his/her needs. Services are provided one-on-one in the office or, if possible, in the child’s natural communication environment (i.e. home, school or daycare). Family is an important part of the therapy process, and sessions may include parents or family members.
SCREENING
Contact us today to schedule a free 15-minute screening. The screening will informally assess articulation, receptive language, expressive language, voice and fluency, to determine if a comprehensive evaluation is needed.
CONSULTATION
We offer consultations with parents, teachers, and other providers to ensure a collaborative team approach when working with your child. When appropriate, we will provide other professionals with strategies to help reinforce your child's speech and language skills.
STAFF IN SERVICE
Our children spend as much time at school as they do at home, so teachers are often in a prime position to detect speech and language delays. Stacy offers staff in-service trainings to educate teachers about developmental norms so they can identify areas of concern.
